What to Expect on Your First Visit
Paschal Orthodontics is proud to offer a wide range of services, including braces and clear aligners, to patients throughout Madison, Greensboro, and the surrounding areas. We are excited to welcome you to your first visit here at our orthodontic office! We look forward to getting to know you and helping you obtain the smile of your dreams!
When you arrive at our office, our patient coordinator will welcome you and provide you with the necessary paperwork to fill out. You will then receive a tour of the office and meet Dr. Paschal and his dedicated team. You should plan to spend at least 90 minutes with us during your first appointment. This will allow us to develop a personalized treatment plan that is tailored to your individual needs.
Dr. Paschal will take a set of photographs of the teeth in their present state, and then perform a thorough examination of your teeth, gums, mouth and jaw. During this examination, we may take X-rays to allow us to see what’s going on underneath the gums: the position and growth of bones and joints, and the teeth that are still below the gum line. We may also ask questions, such as whether the jaws make noise when the mouth is opening or closing, or if there are any problems chewing or swallowing. All of these details together will allow us to make a proper diagnosis and determine a personalized treatment plan that will work best for your individual case.
After your exam, treatment may be recommended – either to begin right away or at a later time, depending on the developmental stage of the teeth and jaws. This may be metal braces, clear braces, clear aligners, or any of our other services and treatments. In many cases, we’ll advise you to return for a periodic check up, until we determine that it’s the best time to start.
We never want costs to stand in the way of quality treatment, which is why we are dedicated to providing our patients with care that is both effective and affordable. Your treatment plan will include a breakdown of all applicable fees, and we will inform you of all costs before treatment is administered. We offer a variety of payment options to meet your needs. If you have any questions about financing or payment, ask us! We will thoroughly explain your choices and work hard to accommodate you.
Our office is committed to helping you maximize your insurance benefits. Because insurance policies vary, we can only estimate your coverage in good faith but cannot guarantee coverage due to the complexities of insurance contracts.
We will fully attempt to help you receive full insurance benefits; however, you are personally responsible for your account, and we encourage you to contact us if your policy has not paid within a reasonable timeframe. If we are not contracted under your insurance, you will be given a copy of services and charges to file with your insurance claim form.
